Unsupported Notion features in Super

Written by Charlene

Super supports many of Notion's features, but not every feature available in Notion is currently supported. As Notion continues to release new functionality, some features may not be available in Super right away.

This article outlines the Notion features that are currently unsupported or have limited functionality in Super.

Timeline view

Notion's Timeline database view is not currently supported in Super.

If a database is displayed as a Timeline in Notion, it won't render correctly on your published Super site.

Alternative: Use a supported database view such as Gallery, Table, Board, List, or Calendar.

Chart view

Notion's Chart view is not supported in Super.

Charts created using Notion's native Chart view won't appear on your published site.

Alternative: You can:

  • Use a screenshot of the chart.

  • Embed a supported third-party chart or analytics tool.

HTML Embed

Notion recently introduced the HTML Embed block. This feature is not currently supported in Super.

Support for HTML Embed is currently on our wishlist, but we don't have an estimated timeline for when it will be available.

We are still gathering data on what are you trying to achieve using HTML Embed. You can always contact on chat bubble to yours.

Formula Property

Notion Formula properties are not supported in Super.

Depending on the formula and its output, certain values or formatting may not display exactly as they do in Notion.

Examples include:

  • Formula outputs that rely on newly released Notion functions.

  • Complex formatting or rich content generated by formulas.

  • Formula behavior that depends on unsupported Notion features.

If a formula doesn't display as expected, verify that it returns a supported value such as text, numbers, dates, checkboxes, or URLs.

Newly released Notion features

When Notion introduces new features, they may not be immediately available in Super.

Our team evaluates new functionality and adds support whenever possible.

If you've noticed a feature that isn't working, check our Help Center or changelog for updates.
