Organizing content in Notion just became more flexible. With tabs now possible in Super, you can create cleaner layouts, reduce visual clutter, and improve how visitors interact with your pages, all while keeping the familiar Notion editing experience.
Whether you're building documentation, portfolios, dashboards, FAQs, or product pages, tabs can help present information in a more structured and user-friendly way.
Long-form pages are powerful, but they can sometimes feel overwhelming when too much content appears at once. Tabs solve this by allowing related content to live in a single section while remaining easy to navigate.
Instead of scrolling through multiple sections, visitors can switch between categories instantly.
Step 1: Type /tabs
On your Notion page, type:
/tabs
Then select the Tabs block.
Step 2: Create Your Tab Categories
Add a title for each tab.
Example:
Overview
Features
Tutorials
FAQs
Each tab can contain its own content, layouts, images, embeds, or databases.
Step 3: Add Content Inside Each Tab
Place the relevant content under each category.
Tabs Help Reduce Visual Clutter
One of the biggest advantages of tabs is focus.
Instead of showing everything at once, tabs allow visitors to concentrate on one section at a time. This creates a calmer reading experience and makes pages feel more intentional.
