Adding Multilingual Navigation

Learn how to set up a multilingual website in Super.so using Notion, with translated subpages and a navigation menu for each language

Written by Charlene

Super.so uses Notion as its backend, so multilingual setups are not automatic. You will need to duplicate your notion page and translate it to the language you desired.

STEP 1 : Translate your Pages in Notion and Make Sure it is a Subpage

Ensure that each language version of your content is translated in Notion and organized as a subpage. This will allow you to link directly to each language from your site.

STEP 2: Create your Navigation In Super

  1. Go to Languages Section

  2. Click Add Language

  3. Select Language and choose the page.

  4. Hit Settings Icon

  5. Click manage Navigation Settings

  6. Add Item and set up your navigation menu

  7. Save Changes

You can also set a CTA on each language thru this link: Custom CTA Button for Each Language

Pages Can Only Be Assigned to One Language

Once a page has been assigned to a language, it cannot be assigned to another language. Each page can only belong to one language at a time.

If you need to use the same content for another language, create a separate translated page in Notion and add it to Super before assigning it to that language.
