To replace your current homepage in Super while keeping your site structure intact, follow these steps:
Create the new homepage in Notion
Add the new homepage as an immediate subpage of your existing (current) homepage in Notion.Move existing subpages
Move all immediate subpages of the original homepage so they now live under the new homepage. This ensures your navigation and page hierarchy remain the same.Copy the new homepage URL
Open the new homepage in Notion and copy its share URL. Make sure sharing is enabled.Update the Notion URL in Super
Go to your Super dashboard, open Site Details, and replace the existing Notion URL with the share URL of the new homepage. Save your changes.
This approach preserves your original site structure in Super while allowing you to seamlessly swap out the homepage.
If You Encounter an Error When Changing the Homepage
If Super shows an error during the update, it usually means the new homepage has already been added to the Pages list automatically.
To fix this:
Refresh your Super dashboard.
Go to the Pages list.
Search for the new homepage (you can use the page ID:
28efa177f4c94a86a7c195c09d4123f8).Click the three dots (β―) next to the page and select Remove page.
Try updating the Notion URL in Site Details again.
